He has extensive experience in the high tech industry having worked at IBM, WiseWire (a internet start-up that was ultimately sold to Lycos), Lycos and most recently LycosVentures L.P., a private equity group that invest in high tech companies. Dave has played key roles in the acquisition and sale of numerous technological companies and is a recognized expert in the field. Dave assists in the valuation of technological companies and intangible assets. He concentrates on valuing intangibles assets and supporting litigation on intellectual property matters. David B. Wilson, Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist, holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business where he was the Whitney Young Scholar (awarded to the top African American student). After graduating from Wharton he was with the McKinsey and Company, considered by most business executives as the premier consulting firm in the country. He then joined FreeMarkets Inc. shortly after it’sfounding and, along with many other McKinsey alumni, built and prepared FreeMarkets for what turned out to be one of the most successful Initial Public Offerings in the history of initial offerings. David has extensive experience in quantifying and optimizing value in closely held businesses and in addition to valuing closely held businesses, serves as an advisor to a number of minority owned businesses and investment funds. He concentrates on merger and acquisition matters. Luke Brocks, Associate Accountant, focuses on tax research and review, economic damages, and litigation support. Luke earned a B.A. from the University of Rochester and a Business Certificate from the Simon Graduate School of Business - University of Rochester. Currently, Luke is a Student at Duquesne University School of Law.
